Over Presidents day weekend Ryan and I went down to St. George with Dad. It was alot of fun. We got to relax and got to go to Zion's with the Family :)
We LOVE it down there! If only work was better we would probably move there but for ryan there isn't much work. I could get a job there and there have actually been postings from DCFS in the Cedar City and St. George offices.
We went driving around a few times and the houses there are gorgous and not too expensive. and weathr is awesome!!

my stunningly handsome husand!
Zions was fun but as always Ryan and I can't seem to go on a trip without something exciting happening with the truck :)
so we drove up to go through the tunnel in the park and followed grandma and grandpa in their durango and dad in the van. on the way back ryan was in a hurry so we passed them and took all the way down faster then we should have and let me tell you. someone up stairs really likes us. as soon as we got to the bottom we stopped for about 5 minutes and waited for everyone else to get back down. once they did we pulled out behind dad with grandma and grandpa behind us. and ryan went to hit the breaks cuz dad was slowing down and they didn't work...he had lost all his breaking system sometime after we made it down the hill. He was able to stop the car with the E break and dropping gears and told dad. But we were still a ways from getting out of the park and it was hilly. so we decided to get at least out of the park and then further asses the situation. but we realized tht if he had lost his breaks going down all the switch backs from the tunnel we would have gone over a cliff because he wouldn't have been able to make the turns safely. and then when we got out of the park he was a bum or just a guy and didn't want to turn on his flashers. He figured he could just break using his e break and dropping gears. well dad stopped at a part store and needed to know the make and all of the truck so he was telling him that and not paying attention to the road and the cars started breaking and he nearly lost control of the truck but luckily he is a very good driver and kept control without hitting any other cars and stopped in time. but he decided he was done driving and it was getting to dangerous so he pulled over and looked to see what was wrong with the truck. It eneded up that the break line had cracked and lost all pressure so we had absolutely no breaks besides the E break.
When my dad got there with the part they also found out that the person who put the old one on had put it on wrong... they put it on backwards and upside down. They got it all fixed and the truck was good as new! :)
The rest of the trip went fabulous!
